Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, Switzerland, NIDO SWISS on Thursday, September 13, 2018 bestowed their esteemed NIDO SWISS AWARD 2018 on the Honorable Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, H.E. Dr Okechukwu Enyinna Enelamah.
The Occasion was the Nigeria Business & Investors Forum which held at the Renaissance Hotel, Zurich Sept12-14, 2018 organized by Nigerian Embassy in Bern in collaboration with Nigerians in Diaspora Switzerland and Diplomatic Vista with the theme – Nigeria: The Investors Haven”. The programme which was attended by public and private sector participants also attracted some other Nigeria’s Embassies and Missions in Europe as well as notable Swiss business community.
In a citation by Celesten Ugochukwu, Chairman NIDO Switzerland, he enumerated the achievements of the Honorable Minister in the areas of improved trade relations and leadership of the parastatals under the ministry which have made the current reforms possible for the benefit of greater investments to Nigeria. The Chairman expressed the commitment of Nigerians in Diaspora to contribute their meaningful quota to the economy and well-being of the nation.
The Ambassador, Embassy of Nigeria, Berne, Switzerland, H.E. Amb. Baba Madugu, presented the award on behalf of NIDO SWISS to the NIPC’s representative, Mr. Byron Isi, Deputy Director, Strategic Communications for onward delivery to H.E. Dr. Enelamah in Nigeria.
Receiving the NIDO SWISS AWARD 2018 Plaque on behalf of the Honorable Minister, FMITA, Mr. Isi applauded the Organisers and NIDO for their passion in joining other stakeholders at home to make Nigeria greater. He thanked them for the prestigious award to the Honorable Minister.
