The Federal Government of Nigeria announced Monday that it has open portal to register prospective beneficiaries of Covid-19 Survival Fund to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) in the country.
The registration portal which opens 10 PM on Monday is part of Nigerian Government’s efforts to ensure the survival of MSMEs amidst Covid-19 pandemic.
The Survival Fund seeks to support 500,000 vulnerable MSMEs in meeting payroll obligations of between N30,000 to N50,000 per employee over 3 months .
The registration is scheduled to start with interested MSMEs in Educational Institutions followed by other categories in order to ensure that the process is seamless & hitch free.
Registration schedule begin with educational institutions at 10pm on Monday Sept 21, 2020, and will be followed by businesses in the hospitality industry on Friday September 25 beginning from 12am.
The portal will also be open to other category of small businesses from 12am, on Mon Sept 28, 2020.
