The Minister of Communication, Dr Isa Ali-Pantami has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his devotion towards the advancement of the Information and Communication Technology , ICT area
The commitment of Information and Communications Technology to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), has ascended from 11.22 percent in the second quarter of 2018 to 13.85 percent in the second quarter of 2019.
As indicated by a report discharged by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the ICT ostensible commitment to GDP, outperformed that of Oil and Gas in the second quarter of 2019.
The figures demonstrate that the Nigeria’s GDP developed by 1.94 percent (year-on-year) in genuine terms in the second quarter of 2019 contrasted with the second quarter of 2018, which recorded a development of 1.50 percent.
