Barr Nyesom Wike has disclosed intentions by the Federal Capital Territory Authority to begin the Abuja Rail Mass Transit, just two days after taking office as the Federal Capital Territory’s Minister.
The Honourable Minister announced that the rail rail transit system would be finished and operational in a few months following an evaluation of the rail terminal. This system is essential for easing city traffic congestion.
He pledged that such projects would not be abandoned and disclosed that funds had been made available for the rehabilitation and restart of the rail system.
He was accompanied by Hon. Mairiga Mahmud, Minister of State for the FCT.
